Gustav Stickley Harvey Ellis Style Custom Highboy Dresser
Custom Gustav Stickley Harvey Ellis inspired highboy dresser. The same structure and measurements as the 814 dresser we build, but with a different drawer configuration of 7 drawers instead of 9. All drawers are constructed with dovetail joinery front and back, available as tradition drawers or with bottom or side hung fully extending ball bearing drawer slides. Shown with turned wooden pulls, available also with hand-hammered copper pulls, accurate replicas of vintage Gustav Stickley pulls. Our dressers are available in various sizes, drawer configurations and woods, including hand selected quarter-sawn white oak, cherry, mahogany, sepele and others.

Shown with one drawer fully extended. We build drawers with the option of traditional drawers with wooden center guides under the drawers or high quality contemporary full extention ball bearing slides, rated for extra heavy weight loads. Some collectors prefer the appearance and authenticity of traditional drawers while others prefer the convenience of a drawer that fully extends and the ease of the ball bearing slides when using the drawer. |
